1. Godly Success Motivation Teacher: Rev. Barbara A. Thorne
In this course, learn how to be motivated in a Godly way to succeed in every area of your life. From family life to your spiritual life, see how God wants every area to be submitted to Him and functioning in His plan and purpose. This class will get you jump-started for your second year at IBS.
2. Homiletics Teacher: Mrs. Genny Travis
In this class you will learn the art of preparing a sermon. You will cover the basic study and writing principles that will allow you to easily and effectively prepare a sermon from the Word of God.
3. New Testament Survey Teacher: Mr. David Harris
In this survey course you will study the history as well as content of the New Testament. You will learn when and to whom the Gospels and the Epistles were written as well as the main themes and concepts of the New Testament. This study is designed to give you an overview and a working understanding of the New Testament.
4. Ephesians Teacher: Rev. Barbara A. Thorne
This course is an in-depth, chapter by chapter look at the book of Ephesians. Learn, step by step what it means to be in Christ and to experience the depth of God's wonderful love. Ephesians is a book that is rich in spiritual and practical insight and this class will expose, piece by piece, the revelations deep within each verse.
5. Demonology/Gospels Teacher: Rev. Barbara A. Thorne
This course is designed to share the truth about the enemy. It uncovers the characteristics of demonic power as well as the strategies and wiles that are promoted by satan against the Church and the world. Hand in hand with a study of the four Gospels, you will see how Jesus dealt with demonic power as well as the authority He gave to the Church to stop the works of darkness.
6. The Name Of Jesus Teacher: Mrs. GennyTravis
By faith in the name of Jesus, the sick are healed, the dead are raised and demons are cast out. This course takes an in-depth look into the teachings of the name of Jesus. Learn the power given to His people through that mighty Name.
7. The God Kind Of Love Teacher: Mr. David Harris
The love of God never fails. In this awesome course learn about God's unconditional unending love. This will inspire a new closeness in your relationship with the Lord as well as an understanding of the ceaseless nature of God's love for us and in us. We are all called to operate in this type of love. The Bible says, "They will know you are My disciples if you love one another."
8. The Body Of Christ Teacher: Rev. Barbara A. Thorne
As blood washed Christians we are all a part of the Body of Christ. God has plans and goals for us as a corporate entity. In this class, you will study God's ultimate goal for His people as well as the overall plan for the Church.
8. Incense And Insurrection Teacher: Rev. Barbara A. Thorne
God requires His people to worship Him in spirit and in truth. This course is designed to teach the Body of Christ how to worship with a clean heart.
9. Authority of the Believer Teacher: Mr. David Harris
Through the blood and the name of Jesus, Christians have been given authority over the devil. In this course you will take an in depth look at that authority of the believer that is taught in scripture as well as how to operate in that authority.
10. Hebrews Teacher: Rev. Barbara A. Thorne
This course is an in-depth study of the book of Hebrews. Revelation knowledge is released during this course. As the deep mysteries of Hebrews are unveiled during this study, you will see further into the ultimate high calling of every Christian as well as the charge for all believers to walk in the fullness of salvation. It is by far one of the favorites of our graduates.
11. The Anointing Teacher: Rev. Barbara A. Thorne
This course teaches you about the different anointings and their specific characteristics. This course is designed to help you understand the different administrations of God's power and how you yourself can identify and operate in the anointing placed upon your own lives for His service.
