As you know our IBS team went to Mexico again in July. This year's trip was very successful. God, through our team, brought words of encouragement and instruction to some of the churches in Mexico as well as to the people in the outlying villages. Our team did not stay in the city of Parras this year, although they did visit and minister there, working with some of the area pastors. Most of the work was done near and in the city of Saltillo where new connections were made and peoples lives were changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As part of our report weve included a couple of testimonies that we know will encourage and bless you.

IBS MEXICO 2000 TESTIMONIES

Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you , that ye should go forth and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain. John 15:16

The very first year that I had the privilege of going to Mexico on a Mission trip, the Lord brought to that scripture. What a comfort it was to me, knowing God chose, ordained, and sent me. Now, after four trips to Mexico, those words spoken by Jesus cause me to rejoice.

Being able to work side by side with the graduates and minister Terri was wonderful. Seeing the gifts of the spirit oprerate through them makes me stand in awe. Every time Liz Farias ministered, I cried. When Luisa Moniz ministered, I cried, and when Mary Ferrara preached I wanted to get saved all over again. I could go on and on . They all were a great blessing and I will never forget the week we spent together.

On July 16th, Sunday morning I was told that I would be preaching, at the 10 o'clock service. As pastor says..."Stretch!". During the altar call, several people came forth for salvation and for re-commitment. One of them was a man who was from the U.S. God had sent him to Mexico to preach some time earlier. For whatever reason he had not done what God had instructed him to do. During the sermon the Holy Spirit totally convicted him and he repented and got right with God. Even when we give up God never does. I am so amazed at times to see what length God goes on our behalf. This man happened to be in that church that Sunday and he stopped running from God but ran right into Him. Isn't Jesus Wonderful!

I look foward to many more trips. The world is so big but our God is bigger! No More Limits! Mrs.

IBS MEXICO 2000 TESTIMONIES CONTINUED

The trip to Mexico was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. There are many things I learned while in Mexico, but the one thing that stands out most in my mind is the lesson I learned on how to discern and flow in the anointing of God. One of the greatest lessons I learned about the anointing is that it's not you it's God. When you step out in faith to do God's work, He gives you the words to speak and the anointing to accomplish His desires. Before going to Mexico, I had never prayed for anyone publicly. I always avoided it. I always thought that I wouldn't know what to say when praying for someone. But I quickly learned in Mexico that when you step out to pray for people and you are doing God's will, He gives you the words to speak. It amazed me, that, when submitting to God and His anointing, He filled my mouth with what He wanted me to say. It truly is like being a vessel. All the words come from our spirit not our mind. God bypasses our brain and speaks through our spirit. I not only experienced this in praying for people but also in the two times that I gave a testimony and a short salvation message.
