“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses”
(1 Timothy 6:12).
The hardest fight you will ever have will be the fight of faith. The enemy will challenge you on every hand with feelings that say you can’t make it or that your circumstances will never change. What a lie! You have already made it in grand and glorious style! Don’t fall for the smoke screen of the enemy! Keep on believing God’s word. It will keep you on solid ground whether anybody agrees or not. God watches over His word to perform it (He brings His word to pass).
Does it look like things are getting worse and that everybody else is being blessed but you? Don’t fling away your fearless confidence. Keep God’s word ever before you. In your mouth and in your heart. Your church will be no more than your faith will allow and your ministry will be all that your faith will receive, if you don’t let go.
Do you have a call on your life that you aren’t walking in? Begin to view this call in faith, not someday but now, for faith is now.

In your personal life, on your job, and in your church, take the stand that everything you're going to do will be towards the goal of fulfilling your call.
Your acceptance of the call to the ministry began the minute you said, “Yes Lord”. If you were in the Army, then you would start as one who was lowest in rank. That isn’t your goal, that is your beginning, then you walk and work towards your ultimate rank. The same process applies to the ministry. You start, walk and work, all the while trusting (Jesus) the Captain of the army. He will never leave you or forsake you. So whatever situations you are in don’t let go of your faith because it will never fail.
The attitude and spirit with which you operate is your preparation for fulfilling your life’s goals. How you handle yourself every day helps or hinders you towards your destination. If you focus on God and your relationship with Him then, when you minister to others, you will minister out of your overflow and will be all you should be.
Begin to develop a lifestyle of a very stable and strong relationship with the Lord. When you put Him first then you will be ready when the time comes.
