WHERE ARE YOU?
Calling all alumni! Where are you? What are you doing? Where are you going to church? Are you being a blessing where you are planted? As I was praying for you this morning, I began to have a desire to hear from you, and to know about what you are doing for our Lord Jesus. How are you serving Him? Whether it is in prayer, teaching, etc., it is important in these days not to get disconnected or feel forsaken because you are a very important part of this ministry and the Lord's army. It is autumn and harvest time. As farmers gather their crops you can go to the roadside stands and buy their fresh produce. One of my favorite things to do, at this time of the year, is to purchase fresh vegetables, bring them home and prepare them. Whether canning, freezing, or just eating, my girls and I use this time for fellowship. In the past I have taught some of you that, in gathering or harvesting, it is important to make sure the crops are cared for so that there is no loss.
I have it my heart that some of you need to know that you have a place. When you are in the ministry, the five fold or the ministry of helps, it can begin to wear on you. The Bible tells us to not be weary in well doing.
The church God sent you to He wants to bless, through you! If you are not in a church I entreat you to get hooked up somewhere. The Lord never intended for you to be out there alone. Never, ever is that His will. The enemy loves to divide and conquer. Do not let that happen to you! You know too much. Please begin to pray for those you know who are out of fellowship. Pray that they will be united to the Vine again so that they may be useful and multiply in the way the Lord intended them to. If you have been hurt or you do not feel that you are being used like you should, seek the Lord. Do not keep score. He is the one who opens the doors, not people, He just uses them.
I have never written a newsletter to you like this before. I could have written a teaching, however, I have an urgency in my spirit about you. I have taught you much, but one thing I know and that is no one can take your place, absolutely no one.
Let us hear from you. You are an important part of IBS, so begin to send in those reports on what God is doing in your life and please, if you have any prayer requests, send them in also.
In His Love
