Are you a child of God or a child of the devil? A child of God
has no fear. When you know who you are you will respond to life
differently. 1 John 4:18 (Amplified) says, "There is
no fear in love [dread does not exist] but full-grown (complete,
perfect) love turns out of doors and expels every trace of terror!
For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who
is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet
grown into love's complete perfection]."
Too many times we act like a stepchild or a bastard
child (one who has no legal right to the benefits and privileges
of a real child) who feels and acts inferior to those who are ope
rating in the blessings, those who belong and have rights. Hello!!
There is something wrong with this picture.
You are a child of the Most High God, Maker of
heaven and earth. That is who you are. With all the rights and privileges
of being His child. Hebrews 2:10 says, "For we are God's
[own] handiwork. (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born
anew]

that we may do those good works,
which God predestined (planned, beforehand) for us [taking paths which
He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the
GOOD LIFE which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]."
When you are thinking, acting and going through life as though you
are a nobody, just another person, you don't know who you are.
I have six children, 3 sons and 3 daughters.
I can promise you they know who they are. They have no problem taking
their place as my children. I raised them to know that they cannot
take each others place and that they each have their own place. When
my sons were small they would ask me who was number one and I told
each of them that they were number one. As adults, one time they were
all together, and a discussion arose as to who I believed was number
one. Well, they phoned me and I told them that each of them was first.
There is only one Steven, one Brian, and one Mark. No one can take
their places or replace them. God is so unique that He not only knows
how many hairs are on your head but He knows your name. You are not
just a part of a group or a crowd, but rather He knows you. You are
His! That is who you are and no one can take your place. So, begin
to walk like a Child of God. Talk like Him and act like Him. He laughs
at the devil below, there is no fear in God and there should be no
fear in His children.
